Restoring Sara's health after five months of debilitating pain.

The privilege of serving in missions. We are honored to serve among so many godly and talented individuals who love the Lord and seek His leadership daily.

The many missionaries who pack up their families and move to strange places, all for the sake of Christ. They have placed obedience above comfort.

The many families, individuals and churches who partner with SIM missionaries through prayer and financial support.

Please Pray for

God's protection and provision for all our missionaries. Pray that more churches and individuals will become partners through prayer and financial support.

More missionaries to serve where God is at work.

George in his many leadership roles at SIM. Pray for wisdom and discernment. Pray for his own spiritual nourishment as he ministers to his staff and others he mentors.

Wisdom for Sara as she researches, evaluates and redesigns missionary training programs. Also, please pray for strength and encouragement as she works to complete her dissertation at UNC Charlotte for her doctorate in Educational Leadership.

Adam as he finishes his senior year at UNC Chapel Hill. Pray that he will finish strong. Also, pray for him as he prepares for ministry and raises his financial support to intern with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship this fall.

Alex as he and Lindsay navigate married life in the Army. Pray that the Lord will direct their paths and grant them extra portions of faith as they will face periods of separation and many transitions. Pray especially for Lindsay, that she will find friends and emotional support.

Early in March, after four years of calm, violence broke out near the Jimma region of Ethiopia. The violence appeared to be planned and resulted in the burning of more than 60 churches and many Christians' homes. Over 4,000 people left their villages to seek refuge.

SIM has a long relationship with the churches of Ethiopia and continues to send workers into this area. Please pray for the villages and families affected by this violence. Pray that peace will be restored and that church leaders will guide their members through forgiveness and restoration. Pray also for SIM missionaries who live and work in this area.
